As we near the end of the year, I’m reminded of how, throughout Scripture, God calls His people to set up physical memorials, often called Ebenezers, to help them remember His work in the world.
For OaksATL in 2025, we could set up many Ebenezers:
We doubled our staff at the beginning of the year, expanding our property management and operations teams, and adding a second construction crew. We now have one team focused on residential construction and another dedicated to multifamily commercial.
We have already finished eight construction projects for our third-party partners, adding 30 new affordable homes and apartments to our neighborhoods.
We completed our first strategic planning process and have already begun executing the goals we set together.

We created our first-ever brand guide to help us tell our story with clarity and consistency. (Yes—OaksATL now has a brand guide! You may notice our updated logo at the top of this email.)
We topped out at 557 Lindsay, our own mixed-use project, which is on track to be completed spring of 2026.
And just last week, we received the Certificate of Occupancy for our largest multifamily development to date: a 24-unit project built for our partners at Westside Future Fund.

As we close out our calendar year, I don’t want to forget how far we’ve come. There were many hard and taxing days between these milestones. Some days even felt like we moved more backward than forward. But persistence often pays off in ways we can only see in hindsight.
